Marks & Spencer - Eat Well, Play Well
Former footballer Ian Wright fronts this film about getting the nation fitter.
He sits on a bench and begins talking about his love of football and then as he moves onto the tradition of having a pie while watching a game at a stadium he says that as a nation “we are putting on the pounds”.
Wright makes it clear that it isn’t about looking good on the beach but how eating has a “positive effect on our health, how we feel, how we think, on the way we live”.
He looks back on his football days when his manager at the time (Arsène Wenger at Arsenal) helped the team think about what they were eating, which helped improve performance.
