Founded in 2011 by ITV's Political Editor, Robert Peston, Speakers for School's main objective is to end educational inequality by giving young people, from all backgrounds, access to the same prestigious networks available to the top fee-paying schools.
Last month saw Beam's very own Noreen Connolly meet and present to over 100 pupils at Harlesden's Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College.
Noreen's main focus was to motivate pupils about what's possible, discussing opportunities and routes to get a job in VFX, Animation and Games, encouraging inclusion and diversity within the industry.
It is a concern that still over 1/3 of state school students do not have access to work experience, being able to educate on programmes such as ACCESS VFX and alternative mentoring networks was both enjoyable and rewarding.
