On the morning of International Women's Day, female staff from Beam and The Mill London were invited to participate in a discussion, over breakfast, about gender in the workplace. The discussion included an incredible panel led by Harriet Minter from the 'Badass Women's Hour.' As well as, Poorna Bell (award-winning author, journalist and public-speaker), Melanie Eusebe (co-founder of the Black British Business Awards), Ross Urien (Creative Director at The Mill London) and our very own Noreen Connolly (Managing Director of Beam).
The panel answered questions from the women of Beam and The Mill, as well as from each other, helping to create an open discussion on how to empower women in the workplace.
Beam are proud to have a 50/50 gender balance within their team and having such successful and inspiring events such as these can hopefully further the conversation and make a change in the wider industry.
