20 years after a diagnosis of Leukaemia and being given only a few days to live, Lance Gaunt, Beam's Head of Media Technology, is celebrating life after cancer treatment by taking on a number of endurance cycling and walking challenges.
In doing so, Lance aims to raise money for Bloodwise the charity dedicated to funding world-class research and support for anyone affected by the hundreds of blood cancer related disorders that effect thousands of people each year.
The first of these events is Trekfest, a 50km walk over the Brecon Beacons taking place on 3rd June. Lance will then take part in RideLondon, a 100 mile cycle on 30th July, which includes the gruelling assents of Leith and Box Hill.
Beam is extremely proud to support Lance and want to wish him the very best in all his celebratory tasks.
