Beam is excited to announce that it will now serve as the short-form content logistics pipeline for Technicolor's portfolio of brands, including Mikros Image, MPC, and Technicolor's Marketing Services team.
Beam was acquired by Technicolor in September of 2015 as part of Technicolor's acquisition of The Mill. Sharing best practices is a priority for Technicolor. Beam has been identified as one of those best practices - bringing streamlined efficiencies to asset workflow management and distribution.
The ethos of Beam is simple: consolidate the process of managing, distributing and storing commercial content for an increasingly global marketplace. Complementing the top visual effects studios in the world, Beam's experienced distribution and business affairs team will advise on a myriad of fulfilment services and share first class technology across the group.
Noreen Connolly, Joint Managing Director of Beam comments "Being part of Technicolor has given us this great opportunity to create a global logistics infrastructure for a proven entertainment industry leader".
Technicolor will begin the integration of Beam immediately and it is expected to be deployed globally throughout Technicolor's portfolio.
