Ben does comedy. Ben works with Mother. He's recently completed a set of 18 UKTV ads, and a spot for the Observer. He also just shot the Alpen "Wife Swap" sponsorship idents for FCB. Next up are some Virgin Mobile spots for Rainey Kelly Cambell Roalfe/ Y&R. Adam Ant thinks Ben is funny. "Piss funny" actually, said Stuart Goddard (AKA Mr Ant), referring to Ben's multi-award winning short film, 'Ant Muzak', which portrayed Adam and co on an eventful late night supermarket trip. It starred MacKenzie Crook (Gareth from The Office) and Nick Moran. "Ant Muzak" won the Audience Award at the Sydney International Film Festival and a number of Best Film/ Best Director awards at short film festivals. (Call for more details if you are interested...) MacKenzie Crook also stars in Ben's latest short film, along with Johnny Vegas, Martin Freeman and Mark Heap from Spaced. It's called 'Blake's Junction 7' and HEAT magazine and THE SUN have already run stories on it. It sees the cult sci-fi gang "Blake's 7" making a stop at Newport Pagnell services on the M1. Blake's has just been selected for the Edinburgh International Festival August 2004. Ben is also one half of cult film event 'Straight 8', which he runs with Ed Sayers.
